LEGO Technic Racing Yacht 42074 review
I hoped this set would be good. The main build is. The second build makes it even better!

LEGO Technic WHACK! & BASH! pullback cars reviewed
Those names. Oh, those names! I don't even know what to say about that. These are two good cars to play with, though a bit expensive for their size & complexity.

LEGO Technic Ocean Explorer review 42064
Finally! The one I've been looking forward to for over a year!

LEGO Technic Air Race Jet 42066 review
This build too much longer to complete than the parts count would suggest. Each moving part inside seemed to be connected to at least 3 other moving parts in convoluted chains of beams & adapters. Most of the mechanisms actually remained incompletely & only partly testable until very late in the assembly when vanity panels were being introduced. Definitely not for novices.
LEGO Technic 2-in-1 Container Yard review 42062
This 2-in-1 set actually gives you the option of two pairs of builds, each being functionally similar, though quite different in overall design.

LEGO Technic 2017 Telehandler review! 42061
Some of the most interesting Technic sets of the Winter-ish 2016-2017 season were only released in Europe & Asia so far, even after two major waves of product drops. However, this telescopic handler is a real performer with all of the desired working functions in a modest-sized package.

LEGO Technic RC Tracked Racer review! 42065
This is a fully functioning, wireless remotely controlled tank that comes with all needed Power Functions electronic items. Just assemble & add batteries. Let's see how it actually performs, though.

LEGO Technic Stunt Bike review - 42058
Another of the small Technic sets that made it to the Americas this season. Again, none of the larger/good ones will be available here until March.

LEGO Technic Ultralight Helicopter 2-in-1 review
North America has to wait a few extra months to get all of the nice medium-sized Technic sets for the season, but here's another of the wee ones that did make it to these shores.

LEGO Technic Roadwork Crew 2-in-1 review! 42060
This is almost minifig scale; so close! Nice body work on the truck, but the Technic-ness is much lacking in this main build. The alternate, build though...

LEGO Technic pull-back Stunt Truck review! 42059
It's my first Technic review of the new season and I've started small. No surprises in this one, just a functional, durable build and some recolors.

LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS video review! 42056
Over nine hours of building & tweaking, three hours in the studio, and another three hours narrating & editing generates what? A 7-minute video!
Well here's the thing. I'm obviously no Technic specialist, so I tend to avoid the big sets of the line and leave them to the experts. I am however a Porsche fan (and previous owner), and have especially marveled at the GT3 since the 997 debuted. Completed, this LEGO model here is something I'm genuinely happy and proud to own, and I will keep it in my long-term collection. The ability to provide some possible service to viewers with a video is just a bonus in this case.

LEGO Technic Nitro GTX Bike from 1995 reviewed
Here's something from a specific segment I've probably underserved up to this point -- classic brick-based Technic sets. Spoiler alert: This "bike" set came with three wheels & tires...

LEGO Technic Robo Riders Onyx from 2000! set 8512
I really liked Frost, but Onyx may just have taken over the most-favored position in my view of the Robo Riders line.

LEGO Technic Hydroplane Racer review! set 42045
Not one of my favorite LEGO Technic sets of recent years, but a well-executed build that incorporates a lot into a small space with a small parts count.

LEGO Technic Getaway Racer review! set 42046
Here's the second modest-sized, pullback motor-powered Technic set to be released for the 2016 season.

LEGO Technic 2016 Display Team Jet review! set 42044
This is a small & cheap set that I think would make a great Technic starter set for many young aviation fans.

LEGO Technic 2016 Police Interceptor review! set 42047
My first review of one of the new "2016" LEGO Technic sets. This one's an SUV with a pullback motor, roughly 6" long with a nice build.

LEGO Technic Robo Riders "Dust" from 2000! set 8513 review
I recently finished up my reviews of all of the Slizer / Throwbot sets and found another of the successor sets from the Robo Riders line in my to-do queue. These were small sets, and this one in particular is fairly simple in its design, but I feel it's well done for what it is. I especially appreciate its ability to stand upright without aid in spite of the motorcycle based design.

LEGO Slizer / Throwbot Scorch / Flame from 1999 - set 8500
Another of the standard-size sets from the series that ultimately morphed into Bionicle. This one is sort of like Mata Onua with Tahu's element.
