Mega Construx Destiny EV-30 Tumbler & EV-38 Laurelbearer Sparrows reviewed

Summer Mega Construx sets have been showing up on Amazon generally one at a time and in tiny quantities, but last week saw a whopping two put up for sale.  I know, I was in disbelief, too.  Not knowing how to handle the influx, I decided to take the safe route and still do just one video.

LEGO NEXO Knights Aaron's Rock Climber review 70355

Aaron lost his original crossbow-inspired flyer very early in the beginning of year 2, dropping down to a smallish bike.  Now the balance of power & vehicle size has shifted back in his favor a bit.

Music shop MOC interior build begins

Sweet, I think this is one of the best parts of this project, especially the two major wall displays that go up quickly.  I'm already starting to get excited about the second floor, but I mustn't get ahead of myself.

Custom LEGO music shop MOC update

I got a little more work done on the new building today, the later part of which is good preparation for the next session's initial mocking up of the first floor's interior space.

Mega Construx Halo Blue Team in-hand review

Nearly 9 months after this set first looked like this was on the verge of being released, it's finally trickling out to the market in small quantities.  Was it at least worth the wait?

MOC season continues, new build commences!

I only recently moved the mall & created new empty spaces next to it, and already one of those spaces is getting filled in with a fresh structure build.

Mega Construx Pokemon Charizard set review

I expect this to be one of the best selling wave 1 Pokemon sets from Mega.  The box looks good on the shelf, the finished model looks good on a desk.  The price is pushing the upper limit of reasonability, though, I think.

LEGO NEXO Knights Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction review 70356

I went ahead & spent the big bucks on shipping to get some season 4 Nexo sets imported, hoping to find some gems among the stones (because Stone Army, right?).  This titan build is more impressive to initially behold in person than it appeared in pictures, yet for its large size it somehow feels a bit underwhelming to me.  Ironically, my favorite elements of the set are two of the little normal-sized minifigures.

LEGO Thor vs. Hulk Arena Clash set review 76088

This is the second of only two Thor: Ragnarok derived sets released earlier this month in Europe & Asia.  I think most people, myself included, were expecting this to be a pretty poor value.  Having gotten it in my hands, it seems a little better than I expected, but only just.

Mega Construx Halo Fireteam Dagger set review

The conflicting cosmic powers of Luck and Amazon met for just long enough recently to allow me to get my hands on one of these newer troop packs at last!
