LEGO City 60035 Arctic Outpost review!

I find it very odd that LEGO chose the Summer, of all seasons, to release a whole line of sets (two, actually, if you include Chima) devoted to frozen plains & digging through ice. Nevertheless, the sets do look quite nice, and here's my first review of one of 'em, with all of the rest to come soon!

LEGO Minecraft custom minifig-scale Chapel / Church MOC

Order up!  One more LEGO Minecraft MOC is complete, another based on my own best interpretation of minifig-compatible scale with a non-naturally generated structure.  As a bonus, I've thrown in a new Bricklink haul, which contains the pieces that were used to finish the MOC :)

Mall update #19: Things & Things

"Things & Things" is what I would imagine this store would be named.  It's across the walkway from the stuffed animal shop and features an eclectic variety of shiny items & antique replicas, including bladed weapons a 1980s dial phone.

Mall update #18: The Octan Store

Octan, once an oil giant & now the mega-monopoly responsible for nearly all of the universe's coffee mug production, has a nice large placement on the 2nd floor of the mall, actually occupying two vendor spaces that have been connected with a doorway in the middle wall.  On the right is coffee mug central, while the left is a heritage & souvenir shop!  Hopefully you'll be able to see everything much better once it's all done.

New MOC is new! My level of general MOC-making inspiration has been steadily increasing recently and this is something reasonably sized that kept the creative juices flowing during a brief break from working on my mall.
