Cooking (LEGO) with JANG

My collection of old bright silver "Hose, flexible ribbed with 8mm Ends, 19L" has been living in a drawer of all manner of hoses & spiny things for about 4 years now.  As more things have been added to the drawer, all of the contents have gotten shuffled around & tangled & tied together like spaghetti.  Finally is is time to use the stuff, so to bring it back to usable shape, I took it to the kitchen, boiled it, then straightened each length with a dip & roll in an ice water tray.  The end result?  They're not perfectly straight, but compared to the jumble I began with (sorry, no "before" photo), they're like new!

I'm going to try to use these in electrified fencing around my Planetary Defense Force base.
