LEGO Hero Factory how-to: Villain heads on 3.0 heroes

You asked for it, here it is.  My how-to showing the technique I used to affix Fangz and Waspix / Scorpio heads to my Boravus 3.0 and Lennick 3.0 MOCs.  Savage Planet villain heads as Hero Factory hero helmets may look pretty good, but the technique itself ain't good at all!  Works for display, but not play.  Good enough for photos, overview videos and basic stop motions, but not for regular use.

Now ya know!

  1. Oh, that makes sense. I never even noticed the rubber band in the videos!

  4. I was going to say that I have independently discovered a way to add savage planet creature heads onto Hero Factory heads, with two Exo-Force robot arms. You would insert the part normally inserted into the arm into the two holes in the top of the head. Then, after this is done, you can get the clips at the end of the hands to grab onto the pegs on the savage planet creature head. It does not seem to work well with Raw-Jaw, as he has some plastic on the undersides of his eyes that get in the way, but it seems to work with the others fine.

  6. @ Jacob H Johnson
I discovered that too when the sets came out. I also noted that this works with WD heads too.
