Shameless LEGO MOC photo thief of the day

Today's report comes with some sad news and with some great news.  What's sad is that bedeimre from Belgium hasn't been tought that stealing is wrong.  He decided to take my photo of Blanko 1.9 and post it to the official Lego Hero Factory gallery as if it was his own creation.  Perhaps it's literally just a problem of education?  Perhaps these kids aren't criminals at heart, they just don't know better?  Spread the word on any Lego-related forums or communities you participate in.  If you blog, blog this.  Stealing is wrong.  Mm-kay?

Now for the good stuff.  Remember robo-G from my first shameless thieves post?  He's gone.  Well, at least all of his photos are gone.  It seems that while one person's report of a theft isn't enough to get Lego's attention, if enough people make a noise, the big company will hear.  Thus I extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you readers who contacted Lego to report robo-G's theft.  I truly appreciate not only your support, but the fact that you, too, believe that theft is not only wrong, but completely unacceptable, no matter who it affects.  Take a bow.  I salute you all!

  11. Hey guys, just to make everyone feel better, I must say that the HeroRecon emails accept replies! I got mine back today with a list of arrivals. They were shipped on the 26, and should arrive within 3-10 days, but the majority maximum time for the more populous states is 3, 5, 6, or 7 days. The secret thing must be big because LEGO refused to tell me.

  15. Wow!
LEGO took me as a joke.
I emailed them 2 times, same time it said:
    Sorry for the inconvenience, etc.
you have to be 13 for them to take you seriously.
    I AM 12!

  16. Usually, this is a sign of envy.
I believe that the people who copy and post other peoples' MOCs either do not know any better, were persuaded to do so, think that Jang will be better than them no matter what, or they just cannot build anything due to lack of pieces. Also, I noticed that some morons got away with posting the preliminary images of the 3.0s! Here is the list of issues:
    3.0 preliminary images,
    Certavus, a Bionicle never sold,
    another person's MOC.
The least they could do is post as an anonymous:
    "I am (username)"

  17. For everyone claiming Lego takes anyone under 13 as a "joke," this is absolutely not the case.

There is a federal law in the United States that expressly prohibits companies from collecting the contact information (including email address) of anyone under the age of 13 without written (on paper, not on the computer) permission of a parent or guardian. Since they cannot get your email, they cannot respond, and since they can't respond, they don't allow you to ask questions in the first place.
