Ultimate Arachnix

In follow-up to my Super Arachnix Drone and even more substantive Ultra Arachnix Drone, this Ultimate Arachnix is as far as I could stretch the theme with the parts I had, while doing my best to primarily rely upon the "Hero Factory" ball-and-socket LEGO action figure building system, and also sticking to a single color scheme.  Even with the many duplicate sets I've bought in the past, this Ultimate Arachnix used up most of my black armor pieces, and all but one of my transparent red/orange pieces!  I was really happy to use 1.0 series hero torso pieces for the articulated shoulders of this beast, and you'll see some first season HF villain leg pieces (actually originally from the Ben 10 series, like it or not) used in the workings of the rear shoulders.

I've been holding onto the Terrain Crawler cockpit since early in my Bionicle hoarding days, knowing some day I'd find a perfect use for it!

    Epicness all the way.
You have quite a lot of armor parts, etc., you know.

  2. I have to say that this moc is pretty impressive and about the size I had in mind when I posted about a Arachnix which can carry other Arachnix at the Ultra Arachnix. Was any of this inspired by my post there?

    2. My comments were the only one that mentioned this size and the carrying of other Arachnix drones.

    1. Yeah I've never played the "mine's bigger" game. I'm perfectly satisfied with my 24" Makuta, 22.5" Takanuva, and 30" long centipede, and happy for everyone who makes things much bigger!

    2. If you supposedly have a bigger one, why dont you post a pic? Im not being mean but it seems pointless to say "Mines bigger" if you havent posted any pics of it, or any of your mocs.

    3. Yeah, I was just implying that this is epic on a massive scale.
      EPIC!
I really admire your MOCs, and as a matter of fact, I got the hand design from the Takanuva Titan. That thing is awesome. Well, actually the hand is much simpler but you get the point...

And Luke1164, click my name and go to the photos page of my website.

    4. Less a pet, more a mount/method of transport.

    5. Anonymous 4th reply,

Well, my thing would probably fall over if it mounted it, but a good idea anyway. :)

And NOBODY ask me to make my titan bigger. I had problems making it the size it is now. Just as Jang is happy with his giants, I'm fine with this thing.

      ---

By the way, my intention was never to say "mine's bigger." I didn't want to put anyone down, just to point out the size of this in a funny way. And, uh, Luke1164 I never stated "mine's bigger." So can we all just have fun building MOCs now? I don't want to offend anyone.

    2. Oooh ooh ooh i did that a long time ago. I called him Galactus, Toa of Titans! He was 29 inches high. His mask was a 2.0/3.0 chest plate on top of a 2.0 mtis. It was attached to thehead with that axle thing that fits onto it to make mtis weapons with barakhi( hope i spelled that right ) eyes in theside axle holes on the sides. I called the mask Titanus, mask of titans( clever name i know ).

      Back to JANG's.
      Obviously, it isn't JANG's.
      Look down.
Look back up! Where are you?
You're viewing MOCs, on the blog your blog could be like.
      What's in this post?
An Arachnix drone from that size you wanted.
      Look again.
      The Arachnix is now Goruz.

Make GORUZ ride it and fight Blanko XL breakout on a giant hero cycle that can carry 6 mini heroes. That would be cool.
