Hooray! LEGO put out another train before this year ended. You know me & trains; I can't get enough of 'em. I'm personally not a huge steam fan, though I definitely respect them for what they are. This actually helps this set gain favor with me because has the charm of a complete steamer in a very compact package that won't steal much space from diesels & electrics on my sidings!
I like this set and will make a nice addition to my Lego Winter Theme.
ReplyDeleteJust out of curiosity what do you do with all these sets that you do reviews on? Are you an investor or just a builder/collector? Do you like most of these sets or do they mainly just collect dust after you do a review?
I am a relatively new AFOL and trying not to go to overboard on a bunch of sets that are going to collect dust.

DeleteAfter he reviews a set, if he really likes it, he may keep it intact (such as many of the Lego submarine sets).
If it isn't a set that he favors, but it has useful or unique bricks then he may break it down for parts, which he uses to build "New Jang City".
The rest he donates to charity.
