LEGO Slizer / Throwbot Scuba / Sub from 1999! set 8503
Here's another Slizer/Throwbot throwback, this one having a color scheme that I found quite unexpectedly pleasing. Nice parts selection, even if the figure on the whole isn't a real standout in the line.
I'm not sure what it is about the Slizer series, I just can't get in board with them. Fair enough, I'm hardly the target audience for them but they just don't do it for me. I think by the time Exo Force came along, Lego had massively improved on the ideas that possibly came from the Slizer series. Peace out.
