This is the fulfillment of a childhood wish! It's inspired by the Plasser American (now Plasser & Theurer) line of self-powered track recording vehicles that have found use around the world like the EM-50, EM-80, EM-100, etc. It's not intended to be a replica of any very specific car, though, instead drawing inspiration from a variety of models from the past few decades.
