Lego Hero Factory Recon Team deliveries delayed

I just received the following email from Lego Hero Recon:
Dear Customer,
We are very sorry to inform you that we have had some technical problems in the fulfillment of customized LEGO orders. Unfortunately this means that the delivery of your ordered Hero Recon Team member has been delayed.
The problems have now been solved and we’re working full speed at the Hero Recon production facility to produce and ship your Hero.
While the production has been on hold, we have collected and added a cool extra element to your unique Hero Recon member as a small compensation for the delay.

This is 14 calendar days after I placed the first of my two Recon Team orders.  Unfortunate to hear of their troubles, but I'm looking forward to receiving my little packets of parts, as I'm sure are many of you!

    I ordered mine 11 days ago and received the same email. I'm really looking forward to getting it. But what really piques my interest is the "added element." What could it be!?

    Great, now I'll need to buy that extra element on eBay because I won't be able to get it otherwise.

    My friend and I just went to our local Lego store's Pick a Brick, and there were WHITE and ORANGE hero cores! I bought a hero with a white core!

    I got my computer back today, and I finally checked my email. I got that email too. It is probably just some brick though. There might be a chance that it could be something awesome, but I always try to keep my expectations low. I hope my email means that they have fixed the problem and they are shipping it to me as we speak. I have just realized that Jang is now famous because of this blog.

    I am not exactly sure what the special surprise is however I got an extra fire piece found on 2.0 villains, a sticker and a in game code for the hero factory game
