LEGO Star Wars Rebels: The Phantom (II) review! 75170

Finally got my hands on one of these hard-to-get sets that keeps selling out everywhere because of the Thrawn figure.  Is the rest of the set worth the price though?

  1. Another nice commentary Jang your crits are concise, well articulated, and not overly pedantic. Also I find your voice soothing and disarming. Regardless the design of the craft itself is very “child-like” my wife commented and that it looks like an object you would hang over a baby crib. She is a Pratt Institute graduate of industrial design and I am from the opposite coast, from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. That being said we are both working designers with kids and we really appreciate your design commentaries. We have found that your reviews are about as good as they can get and are exemplary to say the least. The world of the internet is currently riddled with a slurry of bad communication skills. You my friend need to be making presentations in front of a design team....kudos Jang. My son Joey is 7 years old and has The Ghost and the Phantom 75048 (1) he said this #2 Phantom looks like “it cannot fly” I'm not sure what he means by that since its a space craft but alas I suppose it ties back to what you said about the vertical stabilizer being too short. I have to agree with him though to me it looks like an over designed orbital sander.
    Much Aloha Clint
