THANK YOU for 300,000!!

It happened so fast, I didn't even see it.  Viewers like you fortified your support past the 300,000 subscriber mark, nearly making it 301k before I could even get this video out.  You've also made JANGBRiCKs the #1 most-viewed narrative LEGO & construction toy review channel, by a large margin*.

Ultimately, though, numbers are just numbers, and you all give me far more important reasons to work ever harder to entertain and inform.

  2. Good job jang! I built with LEGO before I watched your videos but you helped me to make my hobby more professional and without I wouldn´t have my big layout (https://instagram.com/funny_bricks/) and all the other things.
Thank you for some great years with lots of inspiration and tips and I hope you´ll bring us some cool stuff for the next years!

  3. Ok, I started playing with lego when I was around 2-4, my brother gave me a huge container full of random lego set pieces. In about 2006 I started building lego MOC's and so got more crafty and skilful, this had also encanced my eyesight. In around 2009 I was looking for some inspiration on youtube and happened to stumble upon your channel. I have been a sub for all these years, I have an idea on a carrer(fighter pilot) due to the sort of stuff that you give creative criticism about. Anybody that dislikes or posts bad comments has no inspiration towards lego, or really anything for that matter. If I don't have time to watch your videos I usually like it and add to watch later. I've just started high school and I have found that in math knowledge on lego helps an extreme amount for geometry and metalmork. Im sorry if I haven't been ableto comment, but it says that I have to update google account,

    P.S. That e-mail was deep.

    Sincerely. Brett Smith

  6. I am a teacher, from East Meon, Hampshire, England. I recently asked my pupils to write a letter to somebody that inspired them and one of them wanted to send a letter to "Jangbricks." I would very much like to be able to send this letter on, but have no idea what postal address to use. Can you help?

Your amazing reviews are a huge part of our grandson's recovery from the effects of treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Your work is inspirational to him... we would love the opportunity to talk to you more personally. Michelle, Jenni and Tyler

  7. I just want to let you know that you have given me ( Like many others) the inspiration to start playing with Lego again. Also, the fact that you put so much time, caring, and dedication into your videos proves that you are a 100% unique and awesome channel. Just the fact that most other youtubers for a video like this would go: "Thanks for 300K! please like and subscribe!" and that you did so much more shows your dedication to Youtube, your channel, and your viewers, Thank YOU Jang. :-)

  13. Jang –
I would like to start by congratulating you on 300,000 subscribers! That is a great accomplishment and you should be very proud. I would also like to thank you.

I am 41 years old, married, with a 6 year old daughter. I was a kid of the 80’s and LEGO was something that was a major part of my life from as early as I can remember, up until about high school. As I grew older, I stopped collecting and playing with LEGO’s, but I always would take a stroll through the LEGO aisle whenever I was at the store just to see what type of stuff they were making and how cool all the new stuff was.

My daughter was born 6 years ago and for her 5th birthday, she was given her very first LEGO set, which was the Lego Friends Heartlake Pet Salon. Now I had seen LEGO Friends advertised, and the displays in the stores, but I did not know if my daughter would be ready for them. We built that first set together the next day, and a wonderful thing happened… Her love for LEGO’s began, and my love for LEGO’s was re-born. Over the past two years, LEGO Friends have become her number one toy/hobby and we have managed to collect just about every Friends set that has been released to date, with the exception of a few of the very rare sets from the first year.

But even better, about a year ago we discovered a Jangbricks video on YouTube. Instantly, my daughter and I were drawn in by your calm, soothing demeanor, your incredible knowledge for the product, your clean, wholesome family environment, and most of all, your passion. It is so obvious that you take great pride in what you do and that makes what you do for us so awesome. I can let my daughter sit for hours at a time watching “jang videos” knowing that she is in a safe place where she will not see or hear anything inappropriate. And during my breaks at work throughout the day, the first YouTube channel that I go to is always Jangbricks. Watching you videos makes me happy and relaxes me as well. We have watched other LEGO channels, but never stick with any of them because, basically, none of them hold a candle to Jangbricks. I will not even bother watching other LEGO channels anymore. My daughter loves your videos so much that she has even had me film some of her own review videos for some of her favorite sets; all while trying to imitate your speech and vocabulary of course! You have really had an impact on her.

I just want to close by saying that what you do does make a difference in people’s lives and that in this day and age with so much negative junk on the internet, it’s so refreshing to have finally found someone that shares our own kind, positive values and a place where I can feel safe letting my child spend time watching videos that will never be inappropriate for her. Thank you again, and keep up the great work Jang.

    Mark

  14. I just want to echo my congrats and appreciation for your site and everything you do.

I'm 37 years old and loved LEGO as a kid. Exactly as you described in your video once I got into high school I moved away from LEGO and with the exception of a few LEGO star wars sets I got as gifts as an adult, basically stopped playing with LEGO.

All that changed with the birth of my kids. My son showed interest as early as 3 years old and now he's only just turned 5 yet he plays with LEGO almost everyday. And you know what? I pretty much do too. Maybe not the same extent but I love nothing more then watching your videos, browsing sets at the LEGO store, putting a set together, etc. I find myself obsessed with LEGO now as I constantly check your site and the lego shop. I rarely go more then a couple of weeks without buying a set or at least a few mini-figs. It's not even for my son anymore but myself.

I recently purchased the parisan restaurant (for me!) and that is the true start of my own love for this great hobby. Even if my son were to quit LEGO now I know I would continue to buy and build. I'm not ashamed of this and in fact all the adults I know that I've shown or talked to about this think it's super-cool too.

One day I'll have a city to rival yours :)

  16. I'm a very recent viewer and i'm incredibly impressed by your hard work on the channel. I believe there are very few working professionals who take as much pride in their work as you do.

Always factual, informative and enthusiastic, it's just an amasing effort, and by the comments it seems like you've been able to foster a positive and healthy viewership:-)
