The value is strong in this one. I think this is one of the most variably playable sets we've gotten at the $30 USD price point in recent memory.

LEGO NEXO Knights Berserker Bomber review 72003
The value is strong in this one. I think this is one of the most variably playable sets we've gotten at the $30 USD price point in recent memory.
LEGO NEXO Knights Axl's Rolling Arsenal review 72006
I went down a bit of a roller-coaster of emotion with this set today, starting out liking & looking forward to it, then feeling really let down after completing the main chassis, and finally returning to a calm state of satisfaction with the removable components docked in place.

LEGO NEXO Knights Aaron's X-Bow review 72005
Just from the pictures I expected the main build in this set to have scissoring wing transformation, Technic geared rotors with remote activation, and trigger-launched missiles. Well, it has none of that. It's evidently... less than meets the eye.

LEGO NEXO Knights Twinfector review 72002
I have no idea what season 5 of the NEXO Knights TV show is going to be like, but the sets sure are shaping up nicely.

LEGO NEXO Knights year 3 Tech Wizard Showdown feat. mech-ception
I felt like NEXO Knights was losing steam in the show and the physical sets alike in season 4, but here it looks like the franchise is poised for a valiant comeback attempt. This is not just another colorful medium-sized mech.

DK Books LEGO NEXO Knights Build Your Own Adventure set
I've not tried out any of these Build Your Own Adventure books prior to this week, but they're really, really good. I bought mine for the included figure and build, but was impressed by the main content.

Updated LEGO NEXO Knights year 2 battlefield display!
Well, then! The last time I showed this space I was pretty embarrassed about how plain & empty it appeared, but no more! With the season 4 sets added, it's absolute mayhem! Based on my experiences with this display, in the future I think I'm going to keep these sorts of dioramas more shallow (speaking of physical dimensions) to improve accessibility. It gets tricky reaching the back and center areas without knocking anything else down, and maneuvering the camera around is especially challenging!

LEGO NEXO Knights - The Heligoyle reviewed 70353
Here's something you've heard me say plenty of times in recent memory: This is the last set in the theme, for now! I tried to get ahead of the August 1 major release explosion by ordering NEXO sets from the UK (at great shipping expense, of course) where they actually came out about a month ago. I've also previously and regularly expressed my displeasure over the extreme irregularity of the releases and distribution of new sets, yes? Yes. Okay good.

LEGO NEXO Knights Macy's Drop Bot Dragon review 70361
I feel like my opinions about this set have taken a major yo-yo ride since months ago when this vehicle/craft/creature/thing was first revealed. One moment I'm eagerly awaiting its release, the next moment I'm completely over it. With the physical product now in-hand, I can at last make a truly final determination.

LEGO NEXO Knights Axl's Rumble Maker review! 70354
This one has some very unexpected features and one particularly smooth action feature, but overall I think I have to give it a "Nice try, but nope."

LEGO NEXO Knights Knighton Castle review 70357
Ah yes, finally something NEXO to make the original Fortrex look dainty! Lots of figures here and a larger structure than it appears to be at first glance. I have to also say, the main build here is about 10x more playable than the beloved classic castles of the 1980s.

LEGO NEXO Knights Aaron's Rock Climber review 70355
Aaron lost his original crossbow-inspired flyer very early in the beginning of year 2, dropping down to a smallish bike. Now the balance of power & vehicle size has shifted back in his favor a bit.

LEGO NEXO Knights Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction review 70356
I went ahead & spent the big bucks on shipping to get some season 4 Nexo sets imported, hoping to find some gems among the stones (because Stone Army, right?). This titan build is more impressive to initially behold in person than it appeared in pictures, yet for its large size it somehow feels a bit underwhelming to me. Ironically, my favorite elements of the set are two of the little normal-sized minifigures.

LEGO NEXO Knights Stone Monster Accessory Pack 853677
I like NEXO Knights. I like minifig booster packs. I liked even the last NEXO Knights minifig booster pack from this season, when they brought the number of figures down to 3. This one, though, doesn't seem worth the price at all. Even if it was cheaper, it's still disappointing with the stripped-down selection of reused figure parts and basic accessories.

LEGO NEXO Knights year 1 layout clear-out
It's time to move out the old to make room for the new. I also look forward to reclaiming a lot of space on my "sets reviewed & sets to review" shelves. Much needed.

LEGO NEXO Knights King's Guard Artillery review - 70347
Just one more tiny polybag to go (that doesn't seem to be in North America yet) and this full wave of NEXO Knights sets will be complete.

LEGO NEXO Knights Lance vs. Lightning review! 70359
This set has pretty poor "shelf presence," if you will, with no major eye-catching element and fairly low-contrast color schemes on either side. However, assembled and in-hand it proves to be well thought-out with very nice individual builds.

Two more LEGO NEXO Knights Battle Suits reviewed: Axl & Lance
I'm finally on the home stretch for early-2017 NEXO Knights sets and approaching the point where I'll need to decide how to proceed with my diorama that currently has all year 1 sets. I'm starting to lean towards setting up a full year 2 display in its place, but I'm still undecided.

Connecting multiple LEGO NEXO Knights Knighton Riders (30376)
A number of viewers of my review of the polybag suggested putting multiple together. I'd love to create a row of at least several more, but only one of the set was offered with each direct purchase from LEGO that included a NEXO Knights item.
LEGO NEXO Knights Battle Suit Macy review! 70363
I think this Battle Suit series provides solidly good, playable, displayable toys across the line, but Macy's specific one has no stand-out feature.
