LEGO Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts collectible minifigure series videos

These CMF series just keep getting larger, this one featuring 22 different characters from J.K. Rowling's infinitely successful Wizarding World book & movie franchise.  I've again offered up two ways to see each figure up close in my studio, with the traditional casual narrated style as well as the far more succinct "quick" look for folks less interested in the theme or with less free time on hand.

LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series 18 full review & box distribution

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of their creation, the LEGO minifigures are throwing themselves a birthday party, costumes strongly encouraged.  This series has a literally & figuratively odd number of entrants thanks to the presence of a bonus "chase" figure, of which only one is placed in every box of 60 individual blind bags.

All 25 LEGO Collectible Minifigure series -- 400+ figures!

It has been almost a year since the most recent (and first) video of my wall o' minifigures, and with a full new column filled up I thought it'd be a good time to revisit the scene and also take more of a proper trip back through history in contrast to my previous focus on the layout & construction of the display.

The very next series that comes out will require me to compress everything to the left for the first time, but that'll take care of the space needs until 2019.  After that, I'll need to reduce the sizes of the plates to fit!

LEGO CMF Series 17 review with all 16 minifigures

These were due out May 1, but they showed up all over the US a couple weeks ahead of schedule.  It's an eclectic collection with good variety and excellent production values, but a number of these figures are similar to earlier releases.

I first teased it about a month ago, and now it's finally filled up & ready for prime time!  I've been making more & more time recently to work on things to be filmed in the big city room, and it feels great.

At last, the circle is complete, and I have covered every LEGO CMF series to date*.  I had actually done a single video about this set of 16 back in 2013, but instead of a proper review, it was more of a wrap-up after a bunch of a bunch of random pack openings.

Ah yes, the big one-zero.  This is the series that was most prevalent when I first started minifig pack opening videos, but I never reviewed the collection.  Mistake corrected!  (And yes, that is a replica Mr. Gold.)

Did it!  I got the last one and completed the collection so I could put together a review of the whole new series.  Lots of interesting stuff here with new part colors, new part molds, and an unprecedented number of dual-molded components.

Suddenly, a wild new minifigure series appears!  Reports of the sudden and completely unexpected, very early release of this Fall series showed up on Brickset and elsewhere last week, and the wave of sightings swept across the US quite rapidly.  Much to my surprise, they're even in my area!  I never get anything in a reasonable amount of time anymore!  Time to dig in...

I know that by virtue of the subject matter alone, these will sell like hotcakes and develop & retain great value for the remainder of human history.  I do wish there was more consistency in design & scale across the line, though.
